Location: The Underworld, London
Headliner: To The Grave (AUS)
Supporting acts: Dead Flesh (UK), Beyond Extinction (UK), Osiah (UK)
Australian vegancore To The Grave had taken the whole of Camden Underworld to the grave as they were the main headline for the Show Them The Bodies tour, along with supporting acts: Dead Flesh, Beyond Extinction and Osiah.
The opening band of the night was Hertfordshire's Dead Flesh. I've seen them live recently at the Camden Assembly Hall when they were support acts for Germany's slammers, Gutrectomy (again, I am not talking about a surgery). Performing their strongest songs, such as Bodies On Bodies (what an absolute banger), DNR and Dead Flesh. Again, they smashed it!
It's all blood, sweat and tears when it comes to Essex death metallers, Beyond Extinction. Their performance was powerful; many people left the pit with sore necks and ringing ears. The latest album will be out on 26th September and it's going to be fucking awesome! Show 'em how it's done, boys!
They say it's 'grim up north', but when it comes to Osiah, their performance was *chef's kiss* unbelievably savage. Absolutely phenomenal! If you love Chelsea Grin, Ingested and Slaughter To Prevail, then you're gonna love Osiah.
Last but not least, it was time for Vegancore. Although I am not too keen on the message the band has about veganism. But I'll put my thoughts aside. To The Grave has turned the pit into a slaughterhouse as their vocalist made an appearance in a gnarly-looking pig mask and an apron. They performed songs from their latest EP (Still), such as DNA (Do Not Amputate), Axe of Kindness and other classics such as DxE or Die, Dead Wrong, Terrorist Threat and finishing off with Made In Australia. They also did a Bullet For My Valentine cover, which got the crowd excited!
