Gig Review: Pintglass The Album Release Tour

Date: 29.11.25

Location: Downstairs At The Dome, London

Supporting acts: Negative Frame, Beyond Extinction

Oi oi! The pit was full of high vis jackets and Stella Artois because GTHC's ultimate Geeza-core Pintglass were causing chaos downstairs at The Dome with Beyond Exinction and Negative. Oh boy, the mosh pits for all three bands were an absolute war zone (in a good way).

The First band to come on stage was Essex Death Metal, Beyond Exinction. I've seen these guys live before, when they and Pintglass were support acts for Signs Of The Swarm in June and for Australia's extreme death metal To The Grave back in August. Their performance was savage, with a galvanising stage presence and a strong crowd engagement; they performed most of their songs from their latest album, Where They Gather. @beyondextinction

London Hardcore Negative Frame...I was reluctant about them because after hearing them on Spotify, I wasn't too convinced, but seeing them live gave me second thoughts on them; they sounded like   @negativeframeldn

Finally, Pintglass' performances were out of this world! It was a must to stand for their version of The National Anthem. They performed all of the songs from their latest album and a couple of their older songs with their old vocalist, Barney Warner and their current vocalist, Angus Roberton; a triple threat! However, their performance felt like being in a music video when they performed Mental In The Rental Pt. I & II, when the whole band was dancing on stage. Not only was their performance energetic, but it was also hilarious. Their engagement with the crowd was off the roof as always! @pintglass_gthc

Album Review: Pintglass By Pingtlass

Album: Pintglass (self-titled)

Artist: Pintglass

Genre: Geezacore

Date released: 14/11/25

Attention GTHC! Guilldford's finest hardcore geezers Pintglass are back with a brand new album and oh boy, it's full of Stella Artois, high vis jackets, steel-cap boots and a bit of footy. Even better...more guest vocals and more geezercore! Hell yeah!

The album has the same energy as the older songs, such as GTHC, Café Brawler, and Get In The Skip You Prick, but with their current vocalist, Angus Roberton. They are no stranger to writing uproarious lyrics about geeza culture while drinking lots of Stella Artois. I am certain that every non-British listener won't be able to comprehend the level of Englishness of this album. The album is 27 minutes long.

Gotta start off the album with their version of The National Anthem. It's freaking hysterical, you'll be laughing throughout the whole album. We all know, it ain't gonna disappoint us! Just like Sweet Can O' Mine (the parody of Sweet Caroline). Dun dun dun!

Site Mentality, featuring the famous Swiss cheese geeza, Marc Zelli from Paleface Swiss, was the first song they released in 2024. The song begins with a radio sample, in which the presenter announces who is playing on the radio. However, after shouting the two words (Site Mentality), the guitar riffs slightly remind me of Raise Your Voice by Obey The Brave. I love the nursery rhyme references used in the song, 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star', and the lines changed to 'you can meet me at the bar', which is very humorously appropriate. I could use that line in every photo I take with the fellas from Pintglass. The music video to the song is so funny!

From high-vis jackets to footy shirts and another banging collab that we've all been waiting for, Matt Honeycutt from Kublai Khan TX, is bringing American football to the UK. I find this song ironic because Matt Honeycutt is straight-edge, yet he's singing about beers (unless it's an alcohol-free one). I love the bit when vocalist Ben Mason says,"Look at my sausage!" when he is literally holding a sausage in the music video. Ben, we know what you were doing, trying to make us all wonder whether we have a dirty mind or not, LOL! That breakdown was freaking lush. Touchdown! On a different note, I wonder what Matt Honeycutt would be like if he were English. However, the chant at the beginning of the song would make a great TV advertisement for Stella Artois.

Doghouse is my personal favourite. The sounds of the phone notification would probably get you thinking, "Wait, that can't be my phone!" Oh yes, False Reality vocalist Rachel Rigby is tearing shit up in the doghouse. Arf arf!

I give this album a 10/10 because:

  • I love that the whole album is brutal but hilarious, just like their older music
  • Awesome guest vocals and brutal breakdowns, along with funny lyrics
  • It's a pure British anthem
I would be so happy if Pintglass ever enter the Eurovision 2026, blasting out Pintglass By Pintglass Off The Album Pintglass, the song that breaks the 4th wall (I've done a song review for this track on this blog).  Check it out on Apple Music/Spotify or grab yourself a copy from their website!

I expect the moshpit to be filled with high vis-jackets and possibly Stella FC footy shirts. They'll be touring from 24th to 30th November 2025, so go grab a ticket, ya soppy mugs!

Gig Review: From Fall To Spring

 Date: 27/10/25

Location: Downstairs At The Dome, London

Supporting acts: Cyankicks (Finland), Letters Sent Home (Germany)

From Fall To Spring make their return to the UK as the headlining band with Letters Sent Home and Cyankicks, downstairs at The Dome, and oh boy, the pit was on fire for each performance!

Letters Sent Home kicked off their set with a powerful performance. The first song they performed was Bloom (one of their older songs), and most of their recent songs. I've never heard of them before, but seeing them live made me like their music even more, especially with such empowering lyrics, which grabbed my attention. I recommend their music! @letterssenthome

In the land of Northern Lights and yummy Lohikeitto, pop-rockers Cyan Kicks made their return to the UK for the third time and performed most of their songs from the recent album, Come Hell Come High Water and a cover song (Let Me Down Slowly). Especially Finnishing (pun intended)  their set with Invincible.  @cyankicks

Who needs Eurovision when From Fall To Spring got The Dome on fire?  The German nu-metal band established their set with 'Draw The Line', one of the most empowering songs from the 'Rise' album, which got the crowd moshing along while they performed a couple of songs from their latest album, 'Entry Wounds'. It was their guitarist's birthday, and the brothers (Phil & Luke) encouraged the whole crowd to wish him a happy birthday. Not to mention, when they finished their set with a classic by Papa Roach, Last Resort; that got the whole crowd singing along to the lyrics. What a night! @from.fall.to.spring

Song Review: Doom Bringer by Kanine

Date release: 4/9/25

Artist: Kanine

Song: Doom Bringer

Genre: Slam, deathcore

In the land of croissants, macarons and crepes, French boys, Kanine have dropped a sweet slamtastic single, Doom Bringer, and blimey (British slang for damn), these speakers can't handle the beastly bass drops! The song has a similar vibe to the latest track, 808, but it's brutal as ever! Especially the breakdown, beginning at 2:02, it's fucking phenomenal! You'll put this song on repeat!

You may need to add this to your gym playlist because it'll get you hitting more PRs. Reminds me of the classic and recent Signs Of The Swarms and has a little bit of No Face No Case (go Czech these guys out if you haven't) with those heavy-hitting drums, groovy riffs and demonic vocals! Ooh la la, indeed!

The song could have been a little longer, but other than that, it's out of this world!  It's straight up Karnage (now, I got Kanine syndrome).

Gig Review: Show Them The Bodies Tour

 Date: 29.8.25

Location: The Underworld, London

Headliner: To The Grave (AUS)

Supporting acts: Dead Flesh (UK), Beyond Extinction (UK), Osiah (UK)

Australian vegancore To The Grave had taken the whole of Camden Underworld to the grave as they were the main headline for the Show Them The Bodies tour, along with supporting acts: Dead Flesh, Beyond Extinction and Osiah.

The opening band of the night was Hertfordshire's Dead Flesh. I've seen them live recently at the Camden Assembly Hall when they were support acts for Germany's slammers, Gutrectomy (again, I am not talking about a surgery). Performing their strongest songs, such as Bodies On Bodies (what an absolute banger), DNR and Dead Flesh. Again, they smashed it!

It's all blood, sweat and tears when it comes to Essex death metallers, Beyond Extinction. Their performance was powerful; many people left the pit with sore necks and ringing ears. The latest album will be out on 26th September and it's going to be fucking awesome! Show 'em how it's done, boys!

They say it's 'grim up north', but when it comes to Osiah, their performance was *chef's kiss* unbelievably savage. Absolutely phenomenal! If you love Chelsea Grin, Ingested and Slaughter To Prevail, then you're gonna love Osiah.

Last but not least, it was time for Vegancore. Although I am not too keen on the message the band has about veganism. But I'll put my thoughts aside. To The Grave has turned the pit into a slaughterhouse as their vocalist made an appearance in a gnarly-looking pig mask and an apron. They performed songs from their latest EP (Still), such as DNA (Do Not Amputate), Axe of Kindness and other classics such as DxE or Die, Dead Wrong, Terrorist Threat and finishing off with Made In Australia. They also did a Bullet For My Valentine cover, which got the crowd excited!

Gig Review: Bass Drops Over Britain Tour

 Date: 24.8.25

Location: The Camden Assembly, London

Headlining band: Gutrectomy

Supporting acts: Kanine and Dead Flesh

The Bass Drops Over Britain Tour has come to an end as everyone got their organs rearranged (calm down, it's a figure of speech) this Bank Holiday weekend, along with Hertfordshire's Dead Flesh and the French boys, Kanine. *bark bark* A triple threat! All bands were offensively outstanding!

Dead Flesh has got some solid grooves, and boy, their performance is remarkable! When they were performing their self-titled song at the end of their set, they got the crowd chanting "Dead Flesh". They will be performing at Camden Underworld with To The Grave on August 29th, which is very soon. @dead_flesh_official

I used to associate France with croissants and macarons (Poké puffs) until I discovered Kanine. Their performance was out of this world, even though there was no flying bin this time, disrupting the show, so they moved to another venue in Manchester. Bad bin! Aside from the bin, the best part was when Kanine's vocalist, Jason Gerhard, put on some cool glasses, shooting bubbles out from the bubble gun while performing Counter Slam Bass Drop Offensive. Ain't no party like a Kanine party! They've performed their latest song, 808 and an unreleased song (which will be out on 4th September), Doom Bringer, which is an absolute banger! They're forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air. Hold on a sec, this ain't about football! *shoots bubbles* @kaninedsc

Stephane from Goliath has stepped in as the replacement vocalist for Gutrectomy's Dennis Schuler. Aside from that, the energy from the crowd was intensely brutal as the German slam boys pulled through the night, performing songs from their latest album, Angst. These guys were amazing! @gutrectomy

Album Review: To Rid Myself Of Truth by Signs Of The Swarms

Date released: 22/8/25

Genre: Deathcore, Slam

Pittsburgh Kings, Signs Of The Swarms are taking over the deathcore scene as they have recently dropped their sixth album, To Rid Myself Of Truth, and oh boy, that shit is fire! Especially with guest vocals from:

  • Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel)
  • Will Ramos (Lorna Shore)
  • Jack Murray (156/Silence)
  • Johnny Crowder (Prison and ex-member of Silence)
To Rid Myself Of Truth has a dramatic breakdown, and I'm fucking here for it! The song will take you by surprise. These guys don't beat around the bush when it comes to making gnarly music.

Oh, we certainly weren't ready for this bad boy of a track, HELLMUSTFEARME (I think the keyboard's broken again) is beastly as fuck. David Simolich never fails to blow me away with his ruthless vocals, explosive riffs and punishing drums. This is more bloodthirsty and less djenty than their previous work; it's darker than I thought. I also love the Amongst The Low and Empty cameo in the lyrics. However, I could sense some Thy Art Is Murder when CJ McMahon was in the band.
They have a music video which matches the aesthetic of their latest album. Davey, don't do it!!!

The collab, we've all been waiting for...Clouded Retina (with Will Ramos of Lorna Shore) is a blend of tech-death and deathcore with an illustrious bassline. The lyrics are composed by the man himself, David, as he addresses his struggle with vision loss and Stargardt disease. Hence, the inner dialogue he has with himself in the song. Bless him! However, the vocals are exhilarating, along with remarkably obscene, me gusta!

I must say. Natural Selection is in a class by itself. The opening riff of this song is electrifyingly gorgeous, holy fuck!

I give this album a 9/10 because I like how they combine their older work with modern deathcore, and their choice of collaborations is top-notch. I don't have anything else to say other than how amazing this album is.

Go and give this album a listen, you won't be disappointed!

Gig Review: Worst

Date: 4.8.25

Supporting acts: Exile (UK/NZ), Street Soldier (UK) and Chaos Reign (UK)

Location: Signature Brew Haggerston, London

Brazilian hardcore Worst ended their Euro summer tour at Signature Brew, London, with support acts Chaos Reign, Xile and Street Soldier.

I won't lie; I was initially reluctant to see Chaos Reign live after checking out their music. But seeing them live changed my mind. Solid performance from the hardcore punk band from London. I was not expecting Jason Heightman (Chaos Reigns' frontman) to be singing directly in my face *chuckles*. Although I thought he would be hanging around steel joists. Talk about being the HEIGHT man, get it? He was quite a character, getting on the table, screaming into the mic. @chaosreignsuk

Xile's brought Kiwicore to the pit with lots of two-steps, flying karate jumps and brutal breakdowns (I'm talking about New Zealand here, not kiwifruits). The kiwis know how to party! Especially when they performed from their EP (such a great EP), I Am Your God. They are the Kiwi version of Cold Hard Truth @xile_hc

Yorkshire's finest hardcore band, Street Soldiers' performance is always *chef's kiss*.  They kicked off their set with Here Comes The SLDR and Walk With Tha Talk. They performed other classics such as Bully Basher, Scumbag, One Man Gang and Bossman. They gave the crowd the option of which Nonce Killa song to perform, and the most requested was Nonce Killa (Total Elimination). I was hoping they would end their set with Drill Seargant's Scruffy Little Twat, but I guess they'll play that when they're headlining. @streetsoldierhc

Lastly, Brazilian hardcore Worst (mind you, nothing negative) were oh boy, awesome! This was the first time seeing these guys live, and they were killing it. @worsthcband

I enjoyed all of the bands' performances, but I will say that Street Soldier and Xile smashed it!

Song Review: Gang Mentality by Screwdriver Lobotomy

Aye aye! The Glaswegian finest beatdown boys, Screwdriver Lobotomy (Hold the Phione, they're a band)  are back with another slamtastic track, 'Gang Mentality,' and oh boy, they know how to deliver. Street Soldier's brother from another mother! They have performed live and I could tell that they know how to put on a show! I won't need to say "I'll believe it when I see it" because their live footage says it all!

The beginning of the track starts off with the intro sample from Hood Took Me Under by Compton's Most Wanted. It has a similar vibe to PeelingFlesh's 'Make A Move,' transitioning from old-school hip-hop to slamming guitar riffs, two-steps, windmills and flying jump kicks. It's music to my ears (literally) to hear the iconic bleughs and barks; even the cats approve! Imagine cats in the mosh-pit, two-stepping and pawing the air. The style of this song reminds me of old school Paleface Swiss (before their CURSED era) and a little bit of Desolate, me gusta! Thembass drops and groovy breakdowns are out of this world!

So, here's the 141 (I know what I'm doing here, shh)...I give this song a 10/10 because:

  • The whole song is eargasmic
  • The random barks at 2:08 is definitely an icing on the cake
  • Mosh worthy for sure

Even though it's their third song, they'll be making more badass music and touring. Go check these lovely lads out, you won't be disappointed! The song is up on Apple Music and Spotify!

Meowth...thaaaaaat's right, you can't escape gang mentality!

Gig Review: Signs Of The Swarms

Date: 20/6/25

Location: Downstairs At The Dome, London

Supporting acts: Beyond Exinction, Pintglass

Hell has certainly feared Signs Of The Swarm as they obliterated the night Downstairs At The Dome in London along with the geezers, Pintglass and Essex death metallers, Beyond Extinction, the night before they head to Leeds for Ghostfest; it was a last-minute gig and it was worth going! As usual, Pintglass fucking smashed it and Beyond Extinction too! All 3 bands got the crowd moshing, crowdsurfing and headbanging.

Beyond Extinction warmed the pit up with Tyranny, and things heated up with Winter Sun. The Essex lads know how to maintain an energetic consistency and have taken the crowd with their soul-stealing breakdowns. @beyondextinction

When I say geeza, you say geeza! These geezas never disappoint. When the pit has lots of high-vis jackets, Stella Artois, and balaclavas. The first time I saw Pintglass was at The Garage back in September 2024, and boy, they know how to party. Their tongue-in-cheek energy was powerful as usual, especially when they played their latest single, PBPOTAP. The crowd all chant 'Geeza'. Believe me when I say this, it ain't no party like a Pintglass party! GEEZA! Ben Mason and Angus Roberton, such an iconic duo! I'll never forget the moment when Angus Roberton held the mic in my direction and got me to yell, "GEEZA!" @pintglass_gthc

Signs Of The Swarms were the icing on the cake that night, leaving the crowd with an immense impression. The breakdown from IWONTLETYOUDIE (it's a popular song for a reason) left the crowd breathless. Beyond Extinction's Jasper Harmer jumped back on stage as guest vocals for Borrowed Time. I was expecting a longer set, but they performed 4-5 songs, including HELLMUSTFEARME and Amongst The Low & Empty. They were out of this world! @signsoftheswarm

No favouritism here because all bands were outstanding in their own way. Lots of headbanging and moshing! The connection between the bands and the crowd were all strong. I'll look forward to seeing them all live again in the future. Also, keep your eyes peeled for more updates from the lads!

Song Review: Snake Eater by Saiko Mantis

Metal Gear Solid meets metalcore.  And nope, this is not a cover for the iconic Metal Gear Solid song by Donna Burke. For those who don't know who Saiko Mantis are, they are a metalcore band from Colorado, US, and have released their latest song, "Snake Eater." They've certainly kept us waiting, huh? Ha, see what I did there?

Snake Eater falls under the nu-metalcore genre, featuring some hardcore vocals; it's a mixture of Kublai Khan TX and Alpha Wolf, which I dig! Groovy turntables, nasty riffs, gnarly yet raw vocals, exciting breakdowns that make you not want to miss it.

The beginning of the song leaves you anticipating. The line, "You can throw me away", got you thinking "ADTR says you can't throw me away, but Saiko Mantis says you can me throw me away." The band knows what they are doing here, ha!

These boys certainly have put the METAL in Metal Gear Solid! Check out their other songs that feature Metal Gear Solid references.

What a thrill...sorry, wrong song!

Gig Review: Desolated

 Date: 7/6/25

Venue: The Underworld, London

Supporting acts: Lowlife, Bayway, Shattered Realm

Life Is Hard (I agree, Murray) was the opening song performed by London-based beatdown band Low Life, and it ended their set with a groovy hip-hop intro, until it was time to throw hands to some brutal breakdowns and bone-crushing guitar riffs. Unmatched. Desolated vocalist, Tony Evans, made an appearance on stage, just like a cherry on top. @low_life528

Boy oh boy, New Jersey Bayway made the night very interesting, especially from their vocalist, Jayway. He had no filter, it was freaking hilarious. These boys remind me of Body Count and Lionheart, so cool! Digging the hip-hop vibes. It's A Cold World for sure, Bayway. So sweet of Jay to give a fan who was on a walker (Jimmy) lots of love, bless him! @baywaynj

Shattered Realm...oh boy...where do I start? I'm lost for words. @shatteredrealm

Last but not least, Southampton-based hardcore band Desolated had taken the stage by storm despite having their van robbed while they were staying in a hotel in Sheffield. They performed songs from their latest album, Finding Peace, and oh yes, it's heavier and more aggressive. The band's hype man was the main highlight of the show, aside from getting kicked in the jaw.  @desolatedinc

Each band stood out in their own way, so I really don't have a favourite here.

Here's the link to Desolated's GoFundMe if you would like to make any donations and give these lovely lads all the love: https://www.gofundme.com/f/desolated-van-robbed

Song Review: PBPOTAP by Pintglass

Date release: 30/5/25

Genre: deathcore, hardcore, beatdown

OI OI! You know what time it is. That's right, get your high-vis jackets on and a cuppa because Pintglass are back with another banger, Pintglass By Pintglass Off The Album Pintglass! Oh yes, I smell another LP on the way with more geezacore. Make some fucking noise for the GTHC!!

When I say geezer, you say geezer!

As you all know, Pintglass are a band of construction site workers who are all about that geezer life. The song is 2 minutes and 33 seconds of catchy lyrics, smashing guitar riffs, heavy-hitting vocals, breathtaking breakdowns and more Stella Artois. I am certain that any non-Brit won't be able to comprehend the level of Englishness! Their sound has never changed, and that's what I like about this new track! You'll be two-stepping in your own home and waving your fists in the air, chanting Geezer nonstop! The pits are gonna be brutal when they perform it live. I also want to add that the delivery of this song is on point, especially when they 'you ain't coming home' which is a reference to the England football team because they're well known for making it to the semi-finals or finals. The question is, will football be coming home next year? I believe so.

They have released a music video where they are having fun with their fans. The best part is where Ben Mason (vocals) is so drunk, he ends up breakdancing on a Stella Artois cardboard box that is taped to the floor. He got the moves! They come up with the funniest and creative shit when it comes to making music videos, especially the song with the Swiss cheese geeza Marc Zelli from Paleface Swiss, Site fucking Mentality!

Pintglass are a band that doesn't take itself seriously, and that's what I love about them; they're also very down-to-earth. They know how to put on an awesome show; the way of the geeza!

You know the fucking name....P.I.N.T. AGAIN!

Go join the GTHC @pintglass_gthc

Album Review: Cursed by Paleface Swiss

Release date: 3/1/25

Genre: deathcore, nu-metalcore

Buckle the fuck up, everyone! I will be brutally honest about the latest album by the Swiss cheese geezers.

So, the Swiss cheese geezas are getting personal in the latest album with a variety of genres. They kick off with a spine-chilling intro in Spanish, which translates to: A Poor Boy Died then transitions into something merciless, Hatred; it's giving classic Slipknot vibes! Zelli's (vocalist) iconic rapping and that laughter of silence. Gotta love them brutal blast beats at the beginning of the song, Don't You Ever Stop and yes, don't you ever stop those beautiful blast beats, Cassi Toma! And Zelli, don't you ever stop rapping! The song gives out Kublai Khan TX, I dig! 🤘🤘🤘

What I like about the concept of the album is that each song represents a flower, along with the message behind every song. Hence, the album cover shows the band lying on top of colourful flowers. For example, Youth Decay is represented by the flower chrysanthemum, which most likely signifies longevity and endurance. I won't lie, this song hit me pretty hard because it is relevant. Adulting sucks!

River of Sorrows is the final song of the album. This song will make your heart sink and cry because of how raw this song is. The tone of this track is slow, melodic and emotional! Again, I won't lie, this song made me cry and I'm sure those who have heard this song must have started crying just like these emotional episodes on Pokémon.

Personally, I prefer the older Paleface Swiss songs but I'm going to give this album a 7/10. It's neither bad nor good, it's just that I'm not used to this sound. I was hoping the album would have the same vibe as songs such as The Gallow, Please End Me and Dead Man's Diary. I was hoping for more breakdowns. I just find it hard to like this album, even though there are a few songs that I like. But anyway, music is like Marmite...either love it or hate it!

EP Review: Menticide

Album: Menticide
Release date: 18/4/25

Ladies & Djentlemen (See what I did there? Haha), Nu-metalcore is the new black. Derby lads Simbulis recently released an EP, Menticide and boy, we're all in for a big treat! Let's turn it up to eleven!

Menticide: The methodical effort to weaken and destroy a person's values & beliefs. Anoki (vocals) warms up by breathing into the mic. I believe Menticide is one of their strongest songs on the EP because of the powerful lyrics, which we can all resonate with. So raw, so passionate! The crispy guitar riffs will give you goosebumps; it feels like Articuno is using Ice Beam. I can hear a little bit of Guilt Trip (hardcore band from Manchester, also great) and a little bit of Alpha Wolf (Australian nu-metalcore band I also recommend listening to).

The New Antitode is an absolute banger! The beginning of the track reminds me of Casanova by Thornhill, but the song ain't about chasing someone who ain't possible to be your lover *chuckles*
Smooth clean vocals with beautiful guitar riffs *chef's kiss* I could imagine this song being performed in future gigs, most likely to get the mosh pit on fire (not literally, that would be tragic). The music video for this song shows the lads performing and unapologetically being themselves as they should. As you all know, at every gig, when the headlining band is almost over, you'll get fans chanting 'one more song'.

Oh boy, Aura goes fucking hard! The delivery of the song doesn't beat around the bush. Fantastic vocals and phenomenal rhythm. These guys have evolved as a band (yep, I'm using a Pokémon reference here because Pokémon is awesome!).

I'm going to give this EP a 10/10 because:
  • They have put so much dedication into this EP
  • Great lyricism in each song they've written
That's all I can say! Make sure you check the EP out on Apple Music or Spotify, and for more updates, you can follow them on Instagram: @simbulisuk

Introduction/Hiatus

What's up? My name is Mazzie (I also go by Thorn). I used to run a blog called Music With Mazzie Massacre, where I used to write about:
- Recent shows I've attended
- Interview band members
- Reviews on a song, album
- Features about a band/musician I've never heard of

I started Music With Mazzie Massacre in 2013 before I started university. I studied BA Journalism & Media at Middlesex University (I graduated in 2016) and wrote mostly about metal music. There was a very good reason why I chose to attend that university, because the campus was very close to Camden Town, which allowed me to go to as many gigs as possible and was beneficial for the course.
I was disheartened when my supervisor left me nasty feedback on my dissertation, saying that it wasn't good enough when I had put my heart and soul into Music With Massacre. His comments discouraged me from writing more music blogs. After my hiatus, I lost my passion and had to terminate the Music With Mazzie Massacre blog. Unfortunately, it lost its soul.

Enough about the sad part, here's the list of what's going to be included in this blog...well the same as before but with a stronger vibe.

I am active on Instagram so if any band/musician would like to be featured in my music blog, my Instagram handle is @thornofrage.
